Candle Care

- Remove all packaging and trim wick to .5cm before lighting each
- Place burning candles 10cm apart
- Use a heat-proof plate or tray to collect any drips and avoid drafts . candles burn best in still air.
- Discard candle when only 1cm of wick remains
- Store in dry cool room away from direct sunlight
- Never leave burning candles unattended and be especially mindful around kids & pets
- Always remember to extinguish candles before leaving the room.

- Keep candles out of reach from children and pets.
- Never move a burning candle.
- Place burning candles at least 10cm apart from one another.
- Place candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Never leave unattended.
- Do not burn near flammable items or draughts.
- Discontinue use when less than 2cm of wax in bottom of container.
- Failure to follow instructions could result in a fire hazard or injury.
- Burn time - To prevent tunnelling and create a candle memory, the first time you light your cocosoy candle let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass. Never burn for more than 4 hours.
- Avoid draughts - Candles burn best in still air. A candle in a draught may start to smoke.
- Putting candles out - Its best to use a candle snuffer rather than blowing out this will help maximise the candles burn time.
- Candle Storage - candles are sensitive to to temperature and light. Store your candles in an upright position.
- Trim your wick before every use - To avoid mushrooming. Trim your wick to 4mm after each use. Trimming will ensure your candle does not burn hotter than it should. Trim the little ball on the end of your wick to keep your candle burning gently, be sure not to cut it too short or it will become engulfed by wax.
